“there’s a sucker born every minute” said that old bamboozler pt barnum. “hah! there’s a sucker made every minute!” says that dastardly harry pitts. this manipulating malcontent is out to derail bronco bob’s wild west show and retire on his own “stimulus package” from the sideshow shambles. tarnation! who of the cast will stop that finagling fiend?!
could it be bronco bob the show’s namesake, a cowboy who’s true blue, but without a clue? or, that perpetually perplexed damsel in distress, penelope pureheart, who never met a mirror she didn’t like? how ‘bout that rootin’, tootin’, shoot ‘em first and ask questions later wildcat, annie oaktree? if they can’t stop the pernicious pitts, our only hope may be the hygienically challenged smitty, stage-hand, stable-hand, and understudy extraordinaire. and just where is the dang law in this town?
hang on to your popcorn and peanuts, bronco buckeroos, cause you’re in for a hilarious wild west show that will make buffalo bill spin in his grave.
what is lone star murder mystery?
an exciting, interactive, comedy murder mystery production performed at the gaylord texan resort which includes a gourmet dinner. our critically acclaimed production is set in the 1880's when fort worth was a young city and had become a major rail head for moving cattle north to market. cattle herds, cowboys, drifters, gamblers and anyone wishing to make a dollar in this wild boom town could be found on exchange avenue in fort worth. for murder mystery aficionados, we provide intrigue, suspense and challenge for their investigative skills. for those who just want to have fun with dinner, we provide more hilarity than you can imagine!
what is interactive theater?
the actors perform, not on a stage, but rather in and among the tables. often times an unsuspecting audience member will be pulled into the action. at the end of the second act each table has the opportunity to "question" the suspects. each table then submits a ballot choosing who they believe is the "guilty" party. prizes are awarded to the winning table and a drawing is held in the event of a tie. after the ballots are collected the "finale" is performed and we all discover "who done it." when you attend one of our performances you will find this to be a unique theatrical experience. come and discover what everyone is talking about!
